Tuttle Click Tustin has an immediate opening for full-time parts driver. Come join our family! All final candidates must possess a valid CA Driver's License and meet our insurability criteria.
Compensation: The Parts Driver Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $21.00 and $24.00.
Responsibilities
- Complies with and enforces all safety & security policies and procedures.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures and complying with codes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Realizes that business is built on customer satisfaction and stays devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks.
- Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road.
- Deliver and pick up parts to various locations.
- Build long-term relationships with the customers and vendors you deliver to.
- Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
- Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise and vehicles.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Must have 5 years of driving experience with a valid California class "C" driver's license and clean DMV driving record. •
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
- Self-starter and self-motivator.
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
- Parts Department experience a PLUS
- Valid driver’s license and insurability by employer’s carrier
