Bar Manager

A chef-led restaurant concept is seeking an experienced Bar Manager. The ideal candidate values hospitality as a central part of the guest experience and consistently strives to ​ c ​reate memorable guest experiences . This role requires a leader who supports a collaborative, respectful workplace culture and can develop a well-organized, motivated bar team that takes pride in its work. Creativity in beverage programming should be balanced with a strong understanding of sales performance, cost controls, and responsible resource management.

• Oversee bar operations during high-volume service periods, maintaining established standards for beverage preparation and service execution
• Train, coach, and support bartenders and barbacks through clear, consistent leadership
• Promote an exceptional guest experience, identifying opportunities to elevate service
• Monitor beverage cost of goods sold (COGS) and support achievement of sales targets
• Manage and track inventory with accuracy
• Ensure beverage costing remains aligned with targets and that all training and reference materials are current and effectively communicated to staff and management
• Oversee cleaning schedules and ensure proper maintenance of bar equipment
• ​ W ​ork gracefully in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and communicating clearly with a guest-focused approach
• Serve as closing manager, ensuring all end-of-day procedures are completed accurately and thoroughly

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and safely using required tools and cleaning products
• Minimum of ​2years of bar management experience preferred, with demonstrated leadership capability
• Current ServSafe and BASSET certifications required
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some daytime shifts as needed
