Senior Tax Associate (CPA) REMOTE
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 + Benefits

Overview
Our client is a growing national tax resolution organization seeking an experienced tax-focused CPA to join their team. This is a fully remote opportunity for a self-sufficient, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a technology-driven environment and is looking to play a key role in building and scaling a tax division.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals (1040), trusts and estates (1041), partnerships (1065), S corporations (1120-S), and other applicable entities
Deliver tax planning, advisory, and compliance services to a diverse client base
Partner closely with Investment Advisors to provide integrated, tax-aware financial planning strategies
Review prior-year tax filings to identify errors, missed deductions, credits, and refund opportunities
Assist clients with tax notices, underpayment issues, filing deficiencies, and federal/state tax matters
Identify proactive tax strategies and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with leadership and strategic partners to enhance service delivery and client outcomes

Qualifications

Active CPA license in good standing
5–10+ years of experience in tax preparation, public accounting, tax advisory, or wealth management
Strong experience preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns, including individual and entity filings
Proficiency with AI tools or automated tax software
High level of technical aptitude and comfort with modern tax technology platforms
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and maintain high accuracy standards
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues before they arise
