Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Commercial Roofing Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target commercial clients within specific territories, focusing on B2B (business-to-business) sales opportunities
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing initiatives, ensuring a steady pipeline of prospective clients
  • Conduct comprehensive damage assessments and presentations to showcase roofing and insurance solutions tailored to client needs
  • Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing customer service, consulting claims through the claims process, and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Utilize CRM software such as BuilderTrend to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze sales trends for continuous improvement
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet both company and insurance carrier standards and client expectations
  • Collaborate with management on territory management strategies and contribute to overall sales growth efforts through analysis skills and market insights

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management within the roofing or construction industry
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including lead generation, direct sales, and territory management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to close deals effectively and foster long-term relationships
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as BuilderTrend or other CRM tools for managing customer interactions and sales pipelines
  • Technical sales expertise related to roofing products, materials, installation processes and insurance industry standards
  • Ability to conduct presentations confidently while addressing customer questions and concerns
  • Skilled in analysis of market and weather data to identify new opportunities and optimize sales strategies
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value-added solutions to clients

Compensation

  • This is a base + commission comp plan
  • Base salary = $50,000.00
  • Commissions = 5% of gross sales
  • Aggressive bonus structure featuring a $500 contract bonus for every deal signed
  • 1st year OTE for personal sales is $2M-$4M
