ROLE IMPACT
The Data Clerk supports the Accounts Payable (AP) function within the Shared Services Center, ensuring accurate and compliant processing of financial documentation and check runs. This position is vital for maintaining audit-ready records, delivering payoffs on schedule, and meeting service-level expectations. Success in this role is defined by efficiency, accuracy, and effective coordination with AP and operational teams to ensure seamless financial workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare, match, and verify AP Trade and Corporate checks with backup documentation
• Execute daily and weekly check runs in accordance with company policies
• Maintain accurate logs of outgoing packages and create FedEx shipping labels
• Package and distribute payoffs and checks securely and on time
• Support internal compliance with SOX controls and SLA benchmarks
• Perform general administrative tasks to support AP operations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of Data Entry
• 10-key speed of at least 8,000 KSPH and typing speed of 40 WPM
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience handling large volumes of documents across multiple databases

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior experience in dealership accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills

• Frequent typing, standing, walking, and sitting required
