About the Role:

We're looking for a creative and motivated eLearning Developer to help us grow InsurAcademy —our online school built to train the next generation of insurance professionals. You’ll collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create engaging, innovative digital learning experiences using tools like Articulate 360 , Synthesia , and Vyond , all while ensuring content meets educational requirements. You will establish a schedule to review feedback surveys for 100+ existing courses and based on input from SMEs, update the courses to ensure they stay relevant. In addition, you will collaborate with our LMS Adminstrator to help troubleshoot and fix any technical course issues in our Blue Sky Learning Management System (LMS).

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop innovative eLearning courses in alignment with InsurAcademy's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, instructors, and partners to roll out new course curriculum in our LMS (Blue Sky).
  • Ensure training materials are consistent, engaging, and on-brand.
  • Serve as a technical expert for course troubleshooting and support.
  • Collaborate with the LMS administrator on course surveys, user management, and reporting.

What Qualifications You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of eLearning development experience
  • Expertise in designing interactive, multimedia-rich online learning (videos, animations, quizzes, simulations)
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 with advanced features
  • Strong customer service, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for innovation, learning, and making a difference

Bonus Points For:

  • Background in the insurance industry or insurance education
  • Experience developing certification programs

Location:

Must be able to work from our Cary, NC office at least two days a week after training.
