Equipment / Maintenance Technician Paradise Locker Meats (PLM) – [Trimble, MO] Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday (Occasional Saturday) Pay: Up to $30/hour (Based on Experience) Position Overview Paradise Locker Meats is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability in a fast-paced meat processing and food production facility. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems. This is a hands-on position requiring strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a USDA-inspected production environment. What You’ll Do * Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on processing and packaging equipment * Diagnose and repair: * Motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors * Vacuum pumps and processing equipment * Pneumatic systems (air lines, cylinders, regulators, solenoids) * Basic electrical controls (contactors, relays, overloads, switches) * Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime * Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and modifications * Maintain facility systems and perform building maintenance as needed * Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams * Communicate directly with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and service technicians to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and coordinate repairs for maintenance issues * Maintain maintenance logs, inventory tracking, and parts organization * Follow OSHA and LOTO safety procedures Work Environment This is a production plant role. Technicians should be comfortable working around: * Raw meat and food products * Blood and strong odors * Wet and slippery floors * Temperature extremes (hot/cold areas) * Fast-paced operations with strict sanitation requirements Qualifications Required: * 2+ years of industrial or plant maintenance experience or less experience with a technical school degree. * Mechanical troubleshooting ability * Working knowledge of electrical systems and controls * Experience with pneumatic systems * Ability to read schematics * Familiarity with OSHA safety practices * Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory tracking) Preferred: * Food processing or meat plant experience * Welding or fabrication skills * Experience with meat processing or packaging equipment Why Join Paradise Locker Meats PLM is a growing, family-owned company supplying premium meats to top restaurants and retailers nationwide.
