Job Duties: Perform routine inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on farm machinery to improve efficiency and extend equipment lifespan. Assist with seasonal servicing, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining detailed maintenance records. Safely operate tractors for field preparation, planting support, feeding, mowing, and other farm tasks. Operate the grain cart during harvest with precision timing and communication between combine and truck drivers. Drive farm trucks for hauling grain, feed, livestock, and equipment while following road safety guidelines. Complete fieldwork necessary to support row crop production, including assisting with planting and harvest-related duties. Provide daily livestock care by assisting with feeding, bedding, checking herd health, basic medical care, pen cleaning, and monitoring livestock behavior. Support seasonal tasks such as calving if needed. Maintain clean and organized farmyard areas, including mowing, equipment organization, and upkeep of buildings, fences, and surrounding grounds. Provide general upkeep of the farm environment and perform basic maintenance of equipment used in farming. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.

Special Requirements: Minimum of 3 months experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level II Experienced Level Pursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level II Experienced Level, indicating that the job requires prior related experience, independent judgment in performing recurring tasks, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
