In the role of GIS Intern, we'll count on you to: - Create high quality maps using ArcGIS Pro
- Collect data from the internet, agencies, field work, etc.
- Preform spatial analysis for NEPA documents
- Create and publish maps in ArcGIS Online
- Preform fieldwork including GIS data collection
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated knowledge of ArcGIS software packages related to field of study/industry Pursuing a degree in Geography, Planning, Computer Science, or closely related field
- Local candidates preferred
Required Qualifications - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
