Inside Sales Representative | Allendale, MI

Salary Range: $50,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify and nurture inbound leads and proactively identify new sales opportunities.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications to customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Prepare and present accurate price quotes, proposals, and product information.
• Manage customer relationships and maintain detailed records of interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, production, logistics) to address customer needs and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional manufacturing products or services.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of proven inside sales experience, preferably in a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and targets.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and sales pipelines.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, products, or industrial equipment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with technical specifications or industrial products.
• Proficiency with specific CRM (e.g., Salesforce) or ERP systems.
• Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish or German.
• Previous experience within a specific manufacturing sector (e.g., automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery).
