Inside Sales Representative | Mattawan, MI

Salary Range: $52,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads and proactively identify new sales opportunities within target markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers via phone and email.
• Prepare and deliver accurate product quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with production and logistics.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address customer technical inquiries and special requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, products, or supply chains.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers and prospects.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.

Bonus Qualifications

• Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical product specifications relevant to manufacturing.
• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes or specific industrial product categories.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems for order processing, inventory checks, or customer account management.
• Advanced proficiency with CRM systems for sales forecasting and pipeline analysis.
