Overview of the Role

Our well-known media entertainment client is seeking a Licensing Marketing Coordinator to support franchise and licensing marketing initiatives for a well-known entertainment brand. This role partners closely with internal teams across licensing, legal, creative, and category management to support day-to-day coordination of franchise plans, brand tools, marketing materials, and approval workflows.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to project manage deadlines, and a collaborative mindset when working across teams and stakeholders.

The Basics

• Duration: 6 months
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid, based in Glendale, CA
• Onsite Requirements: Onsite Monday through Thursday; remote Fridays (subject to change)

Top 3 Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree required, with strong foundational experience supporting marketing, licensing, or brand coordination initiatives
2. Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence collaborating across cross-functional teams while knowing when to ask for guidance

• Self-starter who is motivated, dependable, proactive, and adaptable
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities in response to changing business needs
• Experience coordinating meetings, materials, and stakeholder communications
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Resourceful, innovative, and responsive to change

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain team tools including planning calendars, franchise fact sheets, brand decks, and partner lists
• Review and route brand and marketing submissions through internal advertising approval processes
• Manage internal communications related to franchise updates, tools, and material availability
• Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, note taking, and follow-up
• Conduct competitive analysis, including tracking competitive campaigns and sharing insights with the team
• Support creation of presentation materials, with strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote
• Liaise with legal and business affairs teams to submit materials for clearance and maintain tracking resources for brand documentation
• Support product-related needs by partnering with category and asset operations teams to gather accurate product imagery and release timing
• Collect and organize physical or digital product assets for meetings, presentations, and public relations needs
• Coordinate and participate in team brainstorms and planning sessions
• Assist with the day-to-day development and execution of franchise plans

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
