Overview

Express Employment has partnered with a company in the West Des Moines area that is seeking an **Mechanical Assembler. $19-$27/hour.

This is a Direct Hire Role.**

Duties

Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to specifications and work instructions
Work with engineered thermoplastic materials and composite components to build outrigger pads and stabilization equipment
Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly processes
Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
Package and prepare completed products for shipment
Assist with general warehouse duties including material handling, staging, and inventory organization
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of mechanical schematics is essential.
Familiarity with machining processes and the use of precision measuring instruments is an advantage.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate power tools effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work are critical for success in this role.
