See your impact: Your work supports the business goals of one of the Midwest’s most respected cooperatives.
Shape the future: Play a role in planning, budgeting, and long-range forecasting that influence the success of the entire plant.
Whether you’re a new graduate eager to put your degree to work, or an early-career engineer ready to grow, you’ll find opportunities here to stretch your skills and make your mark.
What You’ll Do
Provide engineering expertise to plant departments.
Manage contracts, budgets, and project scopes.
Develop and review material specifications and purchase materials for projects.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
Experience: 2+ years preferred—but we’re open to new grads with drive and potential!
Skills: Solid communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.
What to Expect
A mix of office work and time in a coal plant environment—where you’ll experience the real heart of power production.
Exposure to unique challenges: high elevations, industrial equipment, and problem-solving under pressure.
Occasional call-outs and the need for flexibility in scheduling.
A strong safety culture that always comes first.
