Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer/Designer to support mechanical design, development, testing, and documentation across projects. Ideal for early-career professionals looking to build hands-on engineering experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with design of mechanical components and systems
Create CAD drawings and technical documentation
Perform calculations and basic stress/thermal analysis
Support prototyping, testing, and validation
Maintain BOMs, reports, and design records
Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing teams, and vendors
Participate in design reviews and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
0-4 years of relevant experience (internships accepted)
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.)
Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
Internship or co-op experience
Knowledge of GD&T and engineering standards
Exposure to FEA, CFD, or simulation tools
