Medical Billing Specialist (Temporary to Perm) Location: Peachtree City / Newnan, GA (In-Person)
Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary with Temp-to-Perm Potential
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Job Description 

A premier specialty physician practice in the Peachtree City/Newnan area is seeking a detail-oriented, autonomous Medical Billing Specialist . This full-time role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience who can manage day-to-day billing operations with minimal supervision, ensuring total accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities

• Billing & Posting: Manage accurate charge entry, claims submission, and daily payment posting.
• Accounts Receivable: Lead aggressive AR follow-up and comprehensive denial management.
• Audit & Review: Analyze EOBs and ERAs to identify underpayments and billing discrepancies.
• Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile practice invoices regularly, including specialized lab billing.
• Compliance: Ensure all billing practices meet compliance standards for timely, accurate reimbursements.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of dedicated medical billing experience (specialty practice experience preferred).
• RCM Expertise: Proven track record in full-cycle Revenue Cycle Management, including outstanding AR cleanup.
• Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent denial management skills, and high attention to detail.
• Autonomy: Ability to work independently, problem-solve critically, and keep office operations running smoothly.
