Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $19.33 / hour. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately. 

Overview:

• Our Casual Drivers are responsible for delivering some of the world's best-known brands to accounts in the local area.
• This position comes with the opportunity to earn a CDL A.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday starting at 5:30am.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive commercial delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer combinations to deliver product to retail accounts.
• Manually load and unload product from the truck.
• Deliver and rotate products in retail accounts.
• Build strong relationships with retailers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner and rotating products as necessary to ensure freshness.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms, load sheets, and cash/checks within the appropriate time frames.
• Ensure accurate completion of the Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents on time.
• Collect payment for the product as required. Balance invoices with checks, cash, etc., at the end of the day.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Primary Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age.
• Class A CDL license perferred but not required.
• Able and willing to work flexible hours, potentially including weekends and/or holidays.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 48 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the job.
• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine.
• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
