Pay and Shift Details

Pay: $25-$32 Depending on Experience 
Shift: 2nd shift 1:30pm - 10:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding of piping systems up to 48” Ø using SMAW and FCAW equipment
• Prepare, cut, bevel, and assemble pipe components using CNC pipe cutters and tube benders
• Read and interpret both structural and piping blueprints with accuracy
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and code specifications (ASME Section IX, API codes)
• Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
• Work collaboratively with fabrication and engineering teams to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural welding/fitting or pipe welding in industrial or fabrication environments
• Proficiency with SMAW, FCAW welding equipment
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills (structural and piping)
• Knowledge of ASME Section IX and API welding standards
• Ability to work in multiple positions (1G–6G) and handle large-diameter pipes
• AISC certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotic pipe welding equipment
• Additional welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
