Job Title: Radiologic Technician (X-Ray Tech)

Location: Ithaca NY

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 3640 hours per week
• Schedule:
  • Friday: 11:00 AM 9:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM 10:00 PM
• Shifts: 3 days per week (12-hour shifts)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technician (X-Ray Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating radiographic equipment and delivering high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate imaging results
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care

Requirements:

• Active Radiologic Technologist license (New York State) or eligibility
• Experience as an X-ray technician in a clinical or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
