Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse— Inpatient Behavioral Health, will direct and oversee the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Graduated from an accredited program of professional nursing
C urrent and valid NJ Registered Nurse license
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Strong interpersonal skills
Customer/patient-centric attitude

Preferred Job Requirements:

Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric or behavioral health care facility

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
