Worth AI is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to own and elevate the visual and interactive experience of our industry-leading onboarding and underwriting workflow automation platform. At Worth, we are on a mission to modernize how institutions verify, onboard, and underwrite SMBs.

This is a role for a designer who thrives at the intersection of complex data and elegant simplicity. You aren’t just creating mockups; you are building the interfaces that banks, credit unions, and enterprises use to make multi-million dollar decisions. You will be a champion for the user, an architect of our design system, and a strategic partner to our engineering and product teams.

The Style of the Role

This is not a "head-in-the-clouds" creative role. Worth AI values Extreme Ownership. You must be comfortable diving deep into technical constraints, building scalable components in Figma, and iterating rapidly based on real-world feedback. Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the design process from initial discovery and user research to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Scalable Design Systems: Lead the evolution of our design system by building a reusable, modular component library that empowers developers to move faster and ensures a consistent, high-quality experience for customers.
• Data Visualization: Transform complex AI-driven data, risk models, and "The Worth Score®" into intuitive, actionable dashboards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with our aggressive growth goals.
• User Advocacy: Conduct usability testing and gather insights to deeply understand the pain points of financial institutions and SMBs, translating them into delightful features.
• Agility & Iteration: Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can pivot quickly based on market needs without sacrificing quality.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in Fintech, SaaS, or AI-driven platforms.
• Startup Mindset: 3+ years in a high-growth startup environment as a primary driver of design strategy; you possess a "no-ego" approach to feedback, the ability to ship high-quality work under tight deadlines with minimal oversight, and a relentless drive to deliver quality with care.
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, variables) and prototyping tools.
• Systems Thinking: Proven experience building and maintaining comprehensive design systems that scale.
• Product Sense: A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to balance business goals with user needs.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve complex workflow problems through clean, modern, and accessible design.
• Communication: Exceptional storytelling skills—you can articulate the "why" behind your design decisions to stakeholders and executives.
