Join a high-impact team as a Software & Computer Systems Engineer I responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) applications. This role is pivotal in supporting complex research and discovery workflows. You will leverage full stack development skills primarily in Adobe ColdFusion Python (Django) and to deliver robust scalable solutions in an Agile environment. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and efficiency of scientific operations.
Emphasis on Skills:
Strong programming foundation and hands-on experience with ColdFusion Python Django JavaScript (ES6) HTML5 CSS and Bootstrap are crucial. Familiarity with Git GitLab CI/CD pipelines application architecture (MVC/MVVM) and automated testing for modern web applications is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own maintain and support Adobe ColdFusion EHS applications including debugging documentation and enhancements.
- Design and build new services and user interfaces using Python (Django) and .
- Develop clean maintainable and testable code across frontend backend and database layers.
- Collaborate with product UX and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies providing daily progress updates and delivering on sprint commitments.
