The Systems Testing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through comprehensive testing strategies and execution. This role involves collaborating with product teams, developing test plans, creating and maintaining test scripts (both manual and automated), identifying and documenting defects, and supporting user acceptance testing. The specialist will work within an agile environment, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle and ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, product owners, and technical teams to develop test strategies and test plans.
- Develop manual test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Plan and create test data for each test phase.
- Execute quality assurance and testing activities for integration, functional, regression, unit, load, performance, and accessibility testing.
- Plan and organize testing efforts in both front-end and back-end application components/environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools and frameworks.
- Communicate test results regularly through reports summarizing test completion and defects found.
- Help with the implementation of the project technical testing strategy and methodology, including testing of integration points, interfaces, and non-functional requirements.
- Evaluate test results against acceptance criteria.
- Define and measure acceptance criteria for test cases.
- Record defects/issues in the defect reporting tool, including detailed descriptions, screenshots, and steps to reproduce.
- Participate in elicitation and business requirement workshop sessions, sprint reviews, and walkthrough meetings.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile / iterative solution development lifecycle.
- Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing.
- Support clients with user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
- Create a traceability matrix to ensure testing outcomes align with business requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular defect review meetings with Business Analysts and Business stakeholders.
- Provide testing and defect status updates in daily scrum stand-ups and team meetings.
- Provide weekly reports confirming the status of assigned tasks.
