Physical Therapy Assistant travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Franklin, West Virginia. Start date 04/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,420 to $1,500, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift pattern is 5x8 Days (08:00–16:30). This travel assignment involves collaborative, patient-centered rehabilitation in an interdisciplinary team setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a physical therapist, focusing on geriatric rehabilitation.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, range of motion, strength, balance, and mobility activities.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising clinician.
- Prepare and set up therapy equipment, assist with modalities as directed by the plan of care, and ensure proper infection control and safety protocols.
- Support discharge planning and patient education for home exercise programs and fall-prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with the physical therapy team and nursing staff to promote continuity of care and patient safety.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in West Virginia or eligible for licensure
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment with geriatric patients
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Availability to start on 04/06/2026 and complete the 13-week assignment
