Our client is looking for Workday Payroll Consultant (US & Canada) long term project and below is the detailed requirement.

Job Overview:
As a Workday Payroll Consultant, you will act as a subject matter expert for Workday Payroll (US & Canada), partnering with business and HR stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize payroll processes. You will play a key role in leading payroll implementations, managing testing workstreams, and advising clients on best practices across payroll, time tracking, and absence management.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience with Workday Payroll (US & Canada)
• Hands-on experience with Workday Time Tracking and Absence
• Proven experience in both Workday implementation and post-production support
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and integrations
• Experience leading payroll testing cycles and test strategy
• Ability to work in a client-facing role and influence senior stakeholders
• Experience in project estimation and planning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to global payroll environments
• Experience with Workday implementation methodologies (Traditional/Launch)
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Tosca

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll SME for US and Canada payroll processes
• Lead and support end-to-end Workday Payroll implementations and post-production support
• Plan and manage payroll testing activities including UAT, parallel runs, and defect tracking
• Provide expertise in Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules and their integration with payroll
• Design and optimize payroll service delivery models, including staffing and process frameworks
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and best practice guidelines
• Advise clients on Workday capabilities and recommend process improvements
