X-ray and DEXA Technician - Los Angeles, CA
Compensation: $40 - $45 per hour DOE

About the Job
This position is for our clinics, a multi-site medical group with locations in Los Angeles. The role involves working 24 hours per week, including 1 Saturday per month , performing both X-rays and DEXA scans . The ideal candidate will have a California Radiologic Technologist license, including bone density certification. Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray and bone density imaging following physician orders and established protocols.
Properly position patients and operate equipment to capture accurate, high-quality images.
Explain procedures and provide a reassuring environment for patients.
Ensure safety measures are followed to minimize radiation exposure.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly.
Accurately document imaging procedures and upload results to the electronic medical record (EMR).
Assist with patient flow and general clinical duties as needed.
Uphold HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards.
Deliver excellent customer service in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear patient communication.
Support clinical leadership during CDPH (California Department of Public Health) audits and health plan audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with imaging-related regulations.
Qualifications :
Experience in X-ray and bone density (DEXA Scan) imaging
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Valid California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
Bone Densitometry/DEXA Certification is required
ARRT Certification is a plus
Skilled in operating X-ray and DEXA equipment in an outpatient or clinic setting
Excellent patient service, communication, and team collaboration skills
Strong understanding of radiation safety, positioning, and clinical protocols
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and PACS
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
