Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Pay Rate: $49 $51 per hour (W-2)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Hours per Day: 8 hours
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Additional Requirements: Rotating weekends and on-call duties
We are seeking a skilled and dependable X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in imaging technology, patient care, and clinical best practices, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure proper patient positioning, technique, and radiation protection standards.
Maintain clear, accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Follow established protocols and safety standards, including infection control measures.
Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call assignments as scheduled.
1 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of various imaging equipment, including setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Up-to-date with current trends in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology advancements.
Demonstrated initiative and strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program Required
Current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License (RT) Required
ARRT Certification Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification Required
