The DevOps & Cloud Engineer for NBS implements and maintains cloud deployment, configuration, support, administration, and technical solutions for various technology components that make up the IT cloud-based environment across the business unit. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain IT cloud infrastructure to meet business objectives. 2. Assist in implementing technical solutions for various sized projects or daily support initiatives. 3. Create and maintain technical documentation for IT systems and solutions. 4. With assistance, work with multiple customers, stakeholders, and system owners to produce requirements, determine feasibility, analyze cost/benefits requirements, and recommend design solution options. 5. Provide technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge. 6. Complete routine preventative measures. 7. Ensure logging occurs and participate in log analysis, vulnerability reviews, penetration assessments and network monitoring. 8. Assist in regulatory body attestations to maintain system and network compliance. Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience may be substituted). EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in the related competency fields listed below. COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: 1. Experience or knowledge in the following areas: a. AWS or Azure services: cloud concepts and some cloud services b. Virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V, cloud-based host virtualization c. Windows technologies: PowerShell scripting, server setup, troubleshooting, maintenance d. Linux technologies: Bash scripting, server setup, troubleshooting, maintenance e. Networking: subnetting, routing, firewalls, basic DNS management f. Security: security protocols, identity and access management, vulnerability remediation g. DevOps: CI/CD pipeline maintenance and troubleshooting 2. Abilities in the following areas: a. Strong analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills b. Strong oral and written communication skills c. Strong interpersonal skills interact with technical and non-technical clients d. Strong documentation and time management skills 3. Self-motivated. 4. Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team. 5. Strong bias toward action, delivery, and implementation. 6. Ability to work through complex challenges with involved guidance.
