Industrial Facilities Maintenance Mechanic

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is hiring a multi‑craft professional to keep our Union Grove campus running smoothly—both the buildings and the production equipment that powers our work.

A day in the life

You start by walking the multi‑building facility, checking safety gear, PPE, and prioritizing the work orders that came in overnight. A call comes in: a hydraulic issue on a piece of production equipment. You troubleshoot, isolate an electrical fault, and bring the line back up. After documenting the fix, you pivot to preventive maintenance—servicing air compressors and dryers, inspecting lighting circuits and panels, and tuning up HVAC systems. In the afternoon, you might repair a leaking copper supply line, replace exterior lighting, clear snow, or patch siding after a storm. Throughout the day, you communicate major repair needs to management, support nearby teams, and ensure everything aligns with SDS guidelines, EPA standards, and local, state, and federal regulations.

What you’ll handle

• Champion a safe workplace by following PPE and safety procedures.
• Perform broad facility maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, remodeling, and HVAC across a multi‑building site.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production equipment.
• Execute preventive and emergency maintenance; record all work performed.
• Maintain lighting systems, electrical fixtures, panels, outlets, and related components.
• Complete plumbing repairs: fixtures, drains, supply lines, and cast‑iron/copper piping.
• Service air compressors, dryers, and airline systems.
• Perform exterior upkeep: fencing, gutters, siding, landscaping, snow removal, and lighting.
• Support housekeeping standards and maintain shop tools and equipment.
• Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with SDS guidelines, EPA standards, and all applicable regulations.
• Communicate major repair needs to management; collaborate with all departments.
• Move equipment and materials as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• At least two years of hands‑on experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry.
• Ability to work under limited supervision while monitoring building system operations and performance using trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC).
