Job Description

At Mission Critical Group (MCG) , we don’t just manufacture electrical systems—we deliver power reliability where it matters most. From data centers to critical infrastructure, our solutions keep the world running. With more than one million square feet of U.S. manufacturing capacity, we move fast, build smart, and never compromise on quality.

Job Description

Hours for this position are 4 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday.
The posted hourly rate for the role includes a $2.00/hr shift differential.

Do you take pride in precision?

At DVM Manufacturing , we don’t just bend metal—we build the backbone of mission-critical industries. From data centers and telecom to banking and pharmaceuticals, the custom switchgear and control systems we create ensure the lights stay on where it matters most.

We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator who combines mechanical grit with an artist’s attention to detail. If you want to work in a shop where "Ownership" and "Humanity" are core values, and where your craftsmanship directly impacts the quality of our finished product, we want to talk to you.

Why you’ll love working with DVM

  • Mission-Critical Work: You aren't making disposable widgets. You are fabricating high-quality components for massive power infrastructure.
  • Respect for Craft: We value "Grit" and "Ownership Mentality." We trust you to set up your machine, check your own quality, and solve problems proactively.
  • Top-Tier Equipment: You’ll be working with industry-standard machinery (Accurpress), ensuring you have the tools to do the job right.
  • A Culture of Safety & Growth: We prioritize safety above all else and encourage a mindset of "Keep Learning."

What you will do:

As our Press Brake Operator, you are the master of the metal. You will take raw technical drawings and transform them into precise, high-quality parts.

  • Own the Setup: Select the right tooling, set up the Accurpress (or similar) machinery, and dial in the settings for the perfect bend.
  • Fabricate with Precision: Interpret complex blueprints and work orders to produce parts that meet tight tolerances.
  • Quality Control: Use calipers, micrometers, and protractors to verify your own work—because you refuse to pass along a bad part.
  • Maintain Your Machine: Keep your equipment running smoothly with routine maintenance and care.

Qualifications

Who you are

  • Experienced: You have 2+ years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environment (setting up and running the brake press equipment).
  • Technical: You know your way around an Accurpress (or equivalent manual press brake) and can read blueprints like a second language.
  • Detail-Oriented: You understand metal forming principles and know that a fraction of a degree makes all the difference.
  • A Team Player: You possess "Humanity"—you respect others' ideas, communicate clearly, and are willing to help train the next generation of operators.
  • Reliable: You show up on time, you work hard, and you treat the company’s goals as your own.

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience with Accurpress control systems.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Vocational training in metal fabrication.

Our Core Values

We hire for character as much as skill. To succeed at DVM, you should embody:

  • Safety Focus: Safety is non-negotiable.
  • Grit: You push through obstacles.
  • Humanity: You respect your teammates.
  • Ownership Mentality: You take responsibility for your quality and efficiency.

Ready to build something that matters? Apply today and help DVM power the world.

Additional Information

A Note to our Recruitment Partners: We really appreciate the interest, but MCG currently manages hiring through our internal team. We love getting to know our candidates directly! Because of this, we don’t accept unsolicited resumes from agencies at this time. If we ever need an extra hand, we’ll be sure to reach out to the community. Thanks for understanding!
