Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant — travel assignment in a long-term care setting in Saint Louis, Missouri. Start date May 4, 2026 for a 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Weekly pay range: $1,404–$1,488. This assignment is a temporary travel role with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Implement components of patient care under the PT's direction; collect data on treatments provided
- Assist the physical therapist in evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages
- Help patients stretch and perform therapeutic exercises; teach balance training as directed
- Move patients between wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area; keep the space clean and organized
- Communicate with families to discuss at-home techniques and progress; schedule and document appointments as needed

Requirements
- Active Missouri PTA license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year PTA experience
- LTC or Rehab experience
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- References and license verification and certifications to be provided
- Ability to work in a long-term care / rehab setting
